The MADEC Board has announced a planned transition of the organisation’s Chief Executive Officer, with the Board overseeing a structured and well-governed succession process.

Chief Executive Officer Jasmine Lowry will step down from the role in July 2026 after ten years of dedicated service to the organisation and the community.

During Jasmine’s tenure, MADEC has strengthened its quality and safeguarding frameworks, expanded youth and disability programs, and reinforced its commitment to person-centred, values-driven service delivery.

Reflecting on the decision, Jasmine said:

“After ten incredible years with MADEC, I’ve made the difficult decision to take a step back to travel and recharge. It’s been a privilege to work alongside such a passionate and dedicated team who make such a difference every day.”

Board Chair Patrick Wilsmore added:

“We sincerely thank Jasmine for a decade of exceptional leadership, professionalism, and care. MADEC is in a strong position, with a clear strategy and an experienced leadership team to guide the transition.”

The Board has commenced a formal recruitment process for the next CEO. All services and supports will continue without disruption during this period.
